Service Description

In this workshop we will explore the medium of pastel as we delve into the theory of angles and how the simplification of the four basic values can portray the planes of light within masses of nature. A study of how the atmosphere also affects value, color, intensity and detail as it relates to distance will also be conducted. Participants will walk away with their own pastel creations and a greater understanding as to how to simplify landscapes while capturing their depth in the medium of pastel.
