Service Description
In this 6 week class, Bruce Seabolt will teach students how to use oil paint, choose the correct brushes and canvas, and care for materials. Color theory and composition will be covered through demonstrations and practice. Bruce will work with all students on their level and make learning how to paint fun. "A very important thing I like for my students to know, is to relax and have fun. You will learn how to paint in whichever medium you choose.' Bruce's nurturing teaching style allows students to comfortably work at their own pace. Portraits in Oils will begin with learning basic drawing skills and will include using a few different kinds of "tools" to paint with. Painting with a palette knife will be covered too! Portraits in Oils will be held for 6 weeks starting on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This class has a following and will fill up quickly! Register today!
