Magnolia Moon Resin Art Workshop

Join Magnolia Moon for a hands-on resin art workshop at Ethotera Studio, where attendees will create a beveled-edge hanging art piece using real pressed flowers.

Artist Sarah Gigli, the maker behind Magnolia Moon, works primarily with pressed botanicals and a high quality, UV-Resistant / VOC-free resin to create simple, nature-forward art for the home. Her work is inspired by organic forms, seasonal change, and the calming nature of hands-on making.

Sarah’s classes are beginner-friendly and focus on clear instruction, intentional design, and making the resin medium approachable and enjoyable.

During the workshop, attendees will select either a heart-shaped or round beveled-edge mold, trace their mold onto paper, and design a floral scape using pressed flowers. Participants will pour resin into their mold, then place their floral design upside down into the resin. Once the first layer has fully cured 24 - 48 hours later, Magnolia Moon will complete a second pour on behalf of the attendee. After curing, finished pieces will be available for pick up at Ethotera Studio one week after the event and can be shipped if needed.

Attendees will choose:

• Beveled edge mold shape: Heart or Round

• Second pour color: clear, black, or white

• Hanging option: no chain, gold chain, or silver chain

  
  

All materials are provided, including VOC-free resin, pressed flowers, tools, and instruction. Masks are not required. Gloves will be provided, as resin may be a contact irritant for some individuals.

Finished pieces make beautiful displays on walls, shelves, or windows, and can also be hung using a strong suction cup hook. These pieces make a thoughtful Mother’s Day gift or a lovely addition to your own home.
