Suzanne Findeisen

Artist, Art Educator

I’ve taught art for over 30 years in classrooms, museums, and community spaces across the Gulf Coast and beyond. My experience spans early childhood programs, K–8 school art integration, summer camps, and adult workshops in drawing, painting, textiles, sculpture, and mixed media. I’ve worked at Capitol Hill Day School, the Ocean Springs School District, Coast Episcopal School, the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center, First City Art Center, and the Pensacola Museum of Art. A proud member of the Mississippi Art Colony, I’ve also earned numerous awards for my artwork, which is featured in private and public collections across the United States. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering creativity, building confidence, and encouraging personal expression through hands‑on exploration.
