In this 6-week painting class, artist Bruce Seabolt will teach students the principles of composition while emphasizing proper care for painting tools and materials. Participants will have the chance to explore oil or acrylic paints and learn Bruce’s signature palette knife techniques. This course offers a hands-on approach to experimenting with texture and color, while also fostering a supportive environment for artistic growth. Students will benefit from both personalized instruction and peer collaboration, making it an ideal space to expand their skills and form lasting connections within the art community. Whether you're an intermediate painter or an experienced artist looking to refine your skills, this class is a supportive environment for artists of all levels. "An essential thing I like for my students to know is to relax and have fun. You will learn how to paint in whichever medium you choose." Bruce's nurturing teaching style allows students to comfortably work at their own pace. Painting with Bruce will be held from 9:30 - 11:30 on Tuesday mornings for 6 weeks starting on October 14th. It will be up to the student to choose which medium they would like to work in before the class starts. All materials can be purchased in the studio.
